Diane Kruger creates Jason Wu bag

Diane Kruger has revealed an upcoming collaboration with Jason Wu.

The blonde actress has dabbled in fashion alongside her movie career and was named the face of Chanel's new skincare line in April last year.

When quizzed on whether she has any big collaborations with designers coming up, Diane revealed she and Jason have something up their sleeves.

"I’m shooting the new Chanel campaign this weekend here in Los Angeles with Peter Lindbergh," she explained to "And I’m actually about to create a new handbag with Jason Wu. It will be called the Diane."

Diane regularly dazzles in gowns by Jason, who became artistic director of Hugo Boss in June 2013, at red carpet events. It seems the German star can't get enough of the accessory she and the designer made together.

"I know - I’m kind of obsessed with it," she smiled to the comment that it's every girl's dream to have their own bag.

One of Jason's Hugo Boss gowns, a lilac spaghetti-strap number, made Diane stand out at the Met Gala earlier this year. Speaking about the dress beforehand, the Wicker Park actress revealed what drew her to the design.

"I had my fitting this morning. I like it because it's a little bit romantic and you know, after the grungier theme last year, it'll be nice to do something really glamorous," she told E! Online.

Diane has also previously spoken about her friendship with icon Karl Lagerfeld, swapping cat pictures with him. Karl has famous feline Choupette as a pet.

''I run into him a lot, especially as he prefers to work at night. I'll come home late and he's often in the street shooting, then he'll invite me up for dinner or a glass of wine and a chat. It's lovely to have him right next door," she told British magazine Stylist.

''We do share a passion for cats... I also have a cat - not quite as well-groomed and pretty as his, I might add - so we exchange cat pictures, which I guess is a bit sad, but also really great.''
