Diane Kruger doesn't feel her style "evolves".
The German actress is known for her quirky fashion choices, most recently picking a black and white plaid Chanel frock teamed with a beret for Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.
The pretty blonde often makes it onto best-dressed lists and believes she has found her winning style formula.
"I always like the same things. I feel like I don't really evolve that much," she admitted to British magazine Glamour.
"I tend to like pure lines; I feel like I'm a young woman, so I like to look sexy for when I go out. Show some skin until it's over."
Her favourite trend for the new season is A-line dresses by the likes of Jason Wu, Bottega Veneta and Chanel.
Although her sense of fashion might not win the critics over every time, Diane isn't worried about the opinions of others.
"Often, the A-line doesn't translate on the red carpet, especially in America. They go, 'But you can't see her waist...'" she explained.
"I know exactly when they're going to like it and when they're not. They all wear the same dresses here [the US]. At the Oscars it's like, 'Another strapless ball gown.' If you go to a red-carpet event and wear a designer that's not well known, they immediately diss it."
