Diane Kruger chose a risqué outfit for the premiere of her latest movie.

The German actress stars in the movie, based on the book by Twilight author Stephenie Meyer, which had its premiere in Hollywood yesterday.

The blonde beauty lit up the turquoise carpet at the ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome in a Thakoon creation, complete with sheer panels along the bottom and at the side.

The 36-year-old slicked back her hair and accessorised with huge chandelier earrings and embellished Jimmy Choo shoes.

"You know, a little bit [of prep goes into getting ready], it's exciting!" she smiled to Celebuzz!

"Choosing a dress for a movie premiere is always one of the funner things to do and I don't know, I just use my friend so I just called him up and he sent this [dress]."

The actress stars alongside Irish actress Saoirse Ronan, who joined the festivities in a burgundy Lanvin dress and showed off highlighted locks.

The lucky 18-year-old enjoys passionate scenes with her co-star hunk Max Irons and Jake Abel.

Diane joked driving an amazing car in the movie wasn't enough to make up for not stealing a cheeky kiss with the handsome boys.

"Well, I didn't get to make out with Max or Jake so I get the second best gig!" she laughed.

Max looked dapper in a Christian Dior suit as he posed with Saoirse for the cameras.

The party didn't end there for the well-dressed cast.

"I'm hoping to meet as many fans as I can and then there's an after-party which a few of the fans have been invited to, so it's fun! Lots of my friends are here," Diane explained.
