Dita Von Teese is putting on a show to celebrate her underwear and perfume collaboration today.

The burlesque star will put on a performance of her Strip Strip Hooray show at the Gramercy Theatre in Manhattan.

The new collection will be available exclusively for US TV shopping network HSN, from April 23 and is the largest collaboration for Dita so far.

“[I’m] very excited to be able to speak to a new audience,” the sultry brunette told WWD.

In keeping with Dita’s gorgeous vintage style, her underwear designs give a nod to pin-up girls, thanks to flirtatious velvet, grosgrain ribbons and beautiful eyelash lace.

Push-up bras and leopard print all feature and will be available in plus sizes, with the whole collection retailing at between $25 and $45.

“I've always loved having beautiful lingerie to wear in my everyday life, and I've never saved beautiful lingerie just for seduction purposes or for when someone else is gonna see it,” the star explained to Elle.com.

“So it was really important to me to make these pieces work well under clothing and give good shaping. They are pieces that you can wear comfortably, so you're not compromising beauty and glamour for fit and function.”

The fragrance line will be featured in two retro glass bottles inspired by the ‘30s.

The Dita Von Teese perfume will come in a black glass pump atomiser, while the Rouge scent comes in a red bottle, with prices between $20 and $75.

“As a little girl growing up in a small farming town in Michigan, my idols were women like Marlene Dietrich and Rita Hayworth. I did a lot of research about what kinds of perfume these women wore,” Dita explained.

“A lot of modern celebrity fragrances have sweetness, vanilla, fruit, and freshness. I wanted mine to have that feel of sophistication and glamour of a different time, but without smelling like, old-fashioned or like your grandmother's perfume.”
