Drew Barrymore shares blusher tips

Drew Barrymore

Drew Barrymore has shared her favourite tips for applying cream blusher.

The actress runs beauty brand Flower, which has its own website with handy make-up tips.

In her latest tutorial, the 38-year-old reveals how she gets that famous glow to her cheeks.

"I know we're used to traditional powder blushes, but I fell in love with cream blush because you can blend them into your skin and they can remain really dewy and fresh throughout the day," she smiled in the clip.

The video shows Drew with her hair pulled back as she explains how to work the Pure Petunia cream blush product from her range into your beauty regime.

The mother-of-one also revealed which colours she likes to go for.

"I picked a colour today that is different from my lips; I'm wearing more of a beige lip, so I went with a coral cheek so they wouldn't match," she explained.

"I just move it around with my finger and how little or a lot really depends on you."

The star let fans in on her favourite tips, saying application was all about "finger play" and moving the product in circles around the apples of the cheeks.

Her favourite beauty secret when it comes to cream blush is rather unusual.

"One thing that I also find is really important is to take a little bit at the very end and drag a tiny bit on the tip of your forehead and just a very gentle amount down the slope of the nose," she shared.

"I feel like it just brings everything together and is my favourite thing about cream blush."
