Duchess chic in DvF
Britain's Duchess of Cambridge stunned in a lace Diane von Furstenberg number in London last night.
The 32-year-old royal and her husband Prince William are currently expecting their second child, with a sibling for their son Prince George due in April 2015. She has been suffering from severe morning sickness called hyperemesis gravidarum during her pregnancy but put her illness aside yesterday when she arrived at the event looking stunning in a lace black dress.
The Diane Von Furstenberg gown flattered her slender frame and showed the tiniest hint of her baby bump, while her enviable brown locks were worn in a glamorous low bun.
Her appearance went down well with onlookers and One Direction, who performed during the extravagant event, even complimented her look.
"I said congratulations on the bump, she didn't look too bumpy," member Harry Styles chirped.
Catherine is a royal style icon with her chic outfit choices and this ensemble marked the second formal evening look she has worn during this pregnancy.
Last month for the 50th Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition at the Natural History Museum in London the duchess dazzled in a pale blue gown by Jenny Packham, a favourite of the brunette beauty's.
Sarah Burton is another fashionista the duchess favours and the designer was lucky enough to be chosen to make her wedding dress in 2011. Her stunning bridal gown was made of satin and featured an overlaid lace bodice and appliquéd skirt.
"Making that dress was no kind of burden at all and it never will be. I loved making the dress, I loved adapting my ideas to suit the person and the occasion, and we put our hearts into it. I respect the intimate nature of that lovely project and I respect the friendships that were forged during it," Sarah previously gushed to British magazine Harper's Bazaar.
