Eddie Redmayne: Burberry shoot was fun
Eddie Redmayne enjoyed his "playful" shoot for the Burberry spring/summer 2012 campaign.
The My Week with Marilyn star was paired up with model Cara Delevigne for the brand's latest ads. It is the first time a couple - rather than a group - has led the label's campaign.
The photographs were shot in London by world renowned photographer Mario Testino. They show both Eddie and Cara wearing the iconic Burberry trench coat.
"I have worked with Burberry before and it's always a fantastic experience," he explained to Vogue. "Christopher [Bailey] wanted something playful from the shoot and so Cara and I had a genius couple of days fooling around. Hopefully the enjoyment we had is reflected in the campaign."
Burberry often enlists the help of young acting talents to promote their brand. Emma Watson and model-and-actress actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley have both modeled for the luxury label.
Eddie has also previously been featured in their spring/summer 2008 campaign.
He revealed his favorite part of working with the brand has been meeting chief creative officer, Christopher Bailey.
"I am a huge fan of Christopher Bailey," he revealed.
"He is a brilliant designer and a brilliant man. The fashion world can be a tad intimidating, but Christopher remains a kind, grounded gem of a man."
