Ellie Goulding embraced the rockstar vibe at V Festival in England yesterday.

The blonde singer took the stage in Chelmsford, Essex, to impress fans with her vocals. But the star's style also didn't go unnoticed, with Ellie choosing a printed T-shirt and a pair of tiny black shorts that showed off her long legs.

Staying true to the rockstar vibe, the 28-year-old left her hair loose and untamed and kept the sun out of her eyes with a pair of Ray-Bans.

And it seems like Ellie had the time of her life performing despite the changeable weather.

"Yesterday was so brilliant at V fest you were so lovely and fun and smiley even though it was p**sing it down Thank you see you later on Chelmsford! (sic)," she wrote on Instagram.

Ellie wants the only one to bring the style factor to V this weekend. Ashley Roberts was spotted in a little black dress with a criss-cross design over her chest and a hat to finish off the look.

British star Ella Eyre went risqué in a PVC outfit for her set, giving catwoman a run for her money in a skin-tight, shiny black one-piece.

And the crowd was just as brave as the fashion-forward star, ignoring the rain to enjoy her music.

"another AMAZING day at Vfest, thank you so much to everyone who came down despite the weather #f**ktherain (sic)," Ella thanked her fans on Instagram.

Others performing yesterday included Paloma Faith and George Ezra.
