Emanuel Ungaro 'staff changes'

Emanuel Ungaro has reportedly lost another senior figure.

Chief Executive Officer Jeffry Aronsson, who joined the company in June this year to help "heal the bruises" of the label, has allegedly left.

Aronsson is a corporate recovery expert and has formerly held positions at Donna Karan, Marc Jacobs and Oscar de la Renta.

Ungaro claimed the CEO is still in office.

"Mr. Aronsson is still the acting CEO of Ungaro," they told WWD.

However, reports suggest that he has stopped commuting to Paris to work with brand after just six months in the position.

Rumours suggest that the businessman may have returned to New York to helm his investment and consulting firm, Aronsson Group, on a permanent basis.

If his departure is confirmed it will be the latest in the long line of high-profile exits from the troubled label.

In September British designer Giles Deacon became the sixth designer in as many years to leave the brand after designing just two collections.
