Emma Roberts: I lose make-up

Emma Roberts has lost "a lot" of cosmetics due to her jet-setting lifestyle.

The stunning actress carries beauty products on the go to ensure she always looks her best. However, thanks to air security regulations Emma has lost some of her favourite cosmetics while flying around the globe.

"The amount of things that have been taken away from me on the plane because they're liquids it's a lot," she complained in an interview with People.

Emma combats taking liquidised make-up remover on the plane by packing Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes instead.

The star doesn't take chances when it comes to taking off her cosmetics at the end of the day.

"Since they aren't liquids, you can take them on the plane and just wipe your make-up off," she explained. "Even if I don't wash my face - which is very rare - I always take off my make-up."

Emma has revealed her perfect evening look. The 20-year-old beauty says a nude lip and winged eye is a winning combination.

"It's always fun and chic, and it pops your eye but it's not over the top," she said.

"I was always so baffled at how you do a winged eye. But you just do it, and if it's sloppy, dip a Q-tip in make-up remover and even it out.

"If I go from a meeting to a dinner, I can just throw on a gloss and it looks like I'm ready.

Emma joined beauty giant Neutrogena in 2009. The star loves being the face of the brand.

"I wanted to be able to represent something that I use, that my mom uses, that my friends use and that I can encourage people to use and feel good about," she explained.

"It just felt like a really good fit."
