Emma Roberts was fringe-free for Coachella

Emma Roberts often shares clothes with her stylists, especially for this year's (16) Coachella.

Actress Emma Roberts channelled an "ethereal-baby-doll" look at Coachella over the weekend (15-17Apr16).

The annual festival kicked off in Indio, California, on Friday (15Apr16), with music fans flocking from all over the globe to soak up the sun and listen to the music. While many festival goers chose to rock hippy-inspired outfits, American Horror Story star Emma was instead kitted out in very chic attire, like a red and white chequered mini dress and a dark, patterned playsuit with a low-cut neckline.

"I wanted to do ethereal-baby-doll me at the festival and put my own spin on it because everyone’s always doing the fringe and stuff," she told WWD. "I wanted to do something different. (It’s) effortless and minimal. We (also) have a bit of a Western thing going on. Today’s (Saturday evening’s festival outfit) is rockabilly. It’s a leather skirt with star studs, white vintage T-shirt and a little necktie. And some Converse."

Emma attended the event with Brit Smith, one half of the actress' styling duo. The 25-year-old goes everywhere with Brit and her sister Kara, the sisters behind brand Elkin, and there are plenty of perks to travelling with fashion experts.

"So much laughter, and a lot of sunglasses and shoes," Emma grinned. "We brought 35 pairs of sunglasses to Coachella. It’s so nice to travel with someone who you feel so comfortable with. We are going to New York together on Tuesday for an event and then to New Orleans for fun."

And it isn't just the designers choosing pieces for their client to wear; Emma is keen to share her style with Brit and Kara too.

"It was funny because for Coachella, (Brit) pulled all these clothes for me and I was, like, 'I pulled all these bikinis I think you should wear from my closet,'” Emma added. "So we’re constantly pulling stuff for each other. Like those are my Coach boots she’s wearing."
