Emma Stone is Vogue's best dressed woman for 2012
Emma Stone has topped Vogue's best dressed list for 2012.
This follows the recent announcement that she is InStyle magazine's most stylish woman of the year.
Emma also appears on the cover of the fashion bible's best dressed issue wearing a quilted satin dress from Proenza Schouler's fall ready-to-wear collection.
Inside the magazine the runners up are confirmed, with second place going to The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo star Rooney Mara, followed by Deep Impact actress Leelee Sobieski coming in third position.
Emma also beat Avatar actress Zoe Saldana, who made a respectable fourth, followed by Vogue's contributing editor and socialite Lauren Santo Domingo in the fifth spot.
An official representative for the publication explained how the women included were chosen.
"Whether in Converse or floor-skimming Oscar de la Renta, these ten [women] show that though the American style icon has evolved, the pluck and poise of the country's women remain as strong as ever," Vogue revealed.
Also included in the magazine's list of new wave style stars are Azealia Banks, Elizabeth Olsen and Jennifer Lawrence.
