Enrique: I have good genes

Enrique Iglesias doesn't get too involved with daily beauty routines, instead preferring a good night's sleep.

The Spanish heartthrob, the son of crooner Julio Iglesias, says he's been blessed with good genes, which means he doesn't stress out about preening and pruning like others in the spotlight.

Even though Enrique is fast approaching his 39th birthday, his facial features look much younger.

"I moisturise but it's not that important. I've realised sleeping is crucial. I don't sleep well and have many nights of insomnia. But when I do sleep, it makes a huge difference. That, and I've got good skin," Enrique smiled to Britain's Now magazine.

The Hero singer has just released his tenth studio album, titled Sex + Love.

New song I'm a Freak has a steamy party video to accompany it, something Enrique likes to embrace.

"I guess my music and being on stage is sexy," he answered when quizzed on what the sexiest thing about him is.

Sex isn't a subject the popstar shies away from, and the theme often features in his music.

"[Sex and love], they are two words that are very common in music and so inspiring you can't get away from them, so the album is very sexy at times. The sex can be raw, immature and fun, or it can be more about love," he explained.

He's been loved up with tennis star Anna Kournikova since meeting her on the set of his 2001 music video Escape.

As Enrique's girlfriend, Anna doesn't have to worry about a certain bathroom habit that can annoy most females.

"No! I never leave the toilet seat up, I hate that. It's bad luck so I never do," he laughed.
