Eva Green becomes L’Oréal Professionnel ambassador
Eva Green is “very glad” to have been named as international spokesperson for the beauty giant.
The former Bond girl was unveiled as the face and hair of the brand on Thursday. Following the announcement, the Penny Dreadful star was quick to share her delight at her new role.
“I am very glad to be on board on this new adventure,” she said. "As an actress hair is so important. You need a very good relationship with your hairdresser and together we create the hairstyles. My hairdresser uses, of course, the leader of hair products, L'Oréal Professionnel."
The 34-year-old’s first campaign will be entitled Wet Domination. And she isn’t the only person excited by the collaboration.
“We have chosen Eva Green because she perfectly embodies our values," revealed hair brand L'Oréal Professionnel's managing director Anne-Laure Lecerf. “I'm convinced Eva Green will be an amazing advantage for L'Oréal Professionnel. Her beauty, modernity and personal appeal captivate."
Eva is known for her long, luscious dark locks and they no doubt helped her secure the part of Bond girl Vesper Lynd in 2006's Casino Royale opposite Daniel Craig. But she admitted recently she isn’t the best at maintaining her tresses by herself.
“Oh god... If I could, I'd have a hairstylist living at mine, who does it for me every morning," she admitted to German magazine Jolie. "In that sense, I'm just like a man. I spend absolutely no time whatsoever on my everyday look. I do it like this: shake hair upside down, tie it up, done!"
