Fannings turn out for Vuitton
Dakota and Elle Fanning were joined by Hailee Steinfeld at the Louis Vuitton fashion show in Paris this morning.
The designer has confirmed he is moving on after 16 years at the helm of the French fashion label and staged his swansong at Paris Fashion Week this morning.
Dakota has a strong working relationship with Marc, having starred in an advert for his eponymous label's fragrance in 2011. It was fitting she was there to witness his final lavish presentation, with her younger sister Elle accompanying her.
Dakota, 19, opted for a floor-length black lace dress for the show, held at the Cour Carrée of the Louvre. The long-sleeved gown had a slip underneath to protect the actress' modesty and she accessorised with nude make-up and a black clutch.
Her 15-year-old sister complemented Dakota, going for a white appliqué top and skirt which looked like they were made from lace but weren't sheer. The top was relaxed and almost like a sweatshirt, with long sleeves, and was perfectly accompanied by the matching miniskirt. Elle wore blue platform sandals to inject some colour into proceedings.
Also at the show was Hailee Steinfeld, who went for a simple black, grey and white checked dress. The cap sleeves showed off her toned arms, while the knee length of the garment allowed her to show off her edgy long-socks and Mary-Jane heels combination.
Film director Sofia Coppola turned up to support Marc, following the announcement she is the new face of his Daisy fragrance campaign. The star kept things chic in a pair of straight blue trousers, a denim-coloured jacket with fake fur piping and a navy bag.
Ramping up the star power on the Louis Vuitton front row was Princess Charlene of Monaco, who chose a simple grey V-neck sweater dress for the event. With her blonde hair swept into an elegant up do, Charlene ensured all eyes were on the slash of hot pink on her lips.
