Fashion: Northern Ireland autumn, winter collections unveiled at Victoria Square
As London Fashionweek takes place Northern Ireland has experienced its own fashion extravaganza, with the launch of 2011 collections at Victoria Square, Belfast.
Adorned in a heady mix of high street and designer labels, some of Ireland's top models put their best fashion feet forward at an exclusive press preview of the new season collections now on sale in Victoria Square.
Five fabulous fashion trends, inspired by looks on the international runways, sashayed down the catwalk in Victoria Square's main mall.
From the plush new colour-blocking Autumnal Jewels trend, characterised by rich, vibrant emeralds, rubies, garnets, sapphires and citrines to the chunky knits, cosy tweeds and faux furs of the Seasonal Heritage trend - autumn/winter fashion at Victoria Square has many faces.
Taking attendees on a trip through the ages, the eclectic show homage to different decades. From the fabulously feminine form-fitting fashions of the Forties characterised by pencil skirts, fitted blazers & trilby hats (Seasonal Heritage trend) to striking monochrome styles inspired by the Swinging Sixties.
