Fashion Spy Belfast - Victoria Beckham always look elegant... but Miley Cyrus is really getting it wrong

Kerry McKittrick checks out the style in Victoria Square, Belfast

Gil Stewart (22), Student, Belfast
Wore what? Jacket, £50, Topshop; top, £22, Zara; trousers, £40, Warehouse; bag, £80, Longchamps; shoes, borrowed.
Why? I like neutral colours and pastels. I don’t like disco pants and patterned leggings, as I don’t think they work on anyone.
Who? I really like Victoria Beckham as she always look elegant. Miley Cyrus is really getting it wrong at the moment.
* Monthly spend £200

Stacey Trimble (23), Unemployed, Belfast Wore what? Jacket, £30, H&M; T-shirt, £15, River Island; leggings, £15, NV; brogues, £12, |Primark; bag, £25, River Island. Why? I like to follow trends but add a personal twist. I never dress totally in black because it makes me look washed out. Who? I like Kate Moss because she can be sophisticated when she wants to be. Rihanna lets it all hang out a bit too much, though. * Monthly spend £70
Linda Kerwick (22), Childcare assistant, Belfast Wore what? Jacket, £35, Zara; jeans, £35, River Island; boots, £25, New Look; shirt, £4 and bag, £10 both Primark. Why? I go for jeans and jackets. They're easy to assemble, and I'm fond of bright colours. Tracksuits shouldn't be worn out. Who? I like Fearne Cotton, as she has an individual style. I don't like Nikki Minaj's Barbie look. * Monthly spend £120
Aislinn Hanna (23), Domestic, Belfast. Wore what? Jacket, £45, New Look; crop top, £10, Topshop; skirt, £10, shoes, £8 and bag, £15, all from Primark. Why? I like to take trends and turn them into my own style and be a little different. I don't like puff ball skirts or pom poms, or anything too girly. Why? Rihanna isn't afraid to do her own thing. Britney Spears, though, doesn't dress well at all. * Monthly spend £400
Jenny Barr (22), Student, Belfast Wore what? Shirt, £30, Urban Outfitters; jacket, £60, Zara; bag, present, Mulberry; jacket, £60, jeans, £60 and shoes, £50 all from Topshop. Why? My style is classic with a twist and I often go for black and white. I don't like platform shoes as they're impossible to walk in. Who? Diane Kruger always looks really well, but Tulisa looks tacky in my opinion. * Monthly spend £100
