Wore what? Blouse, £95 and trousers, £110 both from Hobbs; bag, £90, Ted Baker; shoes, £60, Zara.

Why? I think my style is classic with an edge. I'm not afraid to wear bold patterns but I do like clean lines. I don't like double denim or too short trousers -- they look terrible.

Who? Victoria Beckham has a wonderful, elegant, understated style, but I just don't get what Lady Gaga is trying to do.

Wore what? Coat, £85, Miss Selfridge; top, £45, and shoes, £65, both from Oasis; jeans, £45, Topshop; bag, gift, Hermes.

Why? My style is feminine but simple so I don't go for bold patterns. I also love lace. I'm really into shoes so if someone is wearing a bad pair it's the first thing I notice.

Who? Cheryl Cole has a girly style which I love. Jessie J's look works for her but it's not something that I'd ever try.

* Monthly spend £350-450

Upama Rai (27), Civil servant, Ballymena

Wore what? Jacket, £75, Benetton; shirt, £45, Oasis; bag, gift, Chanel; jeans, £30, New Look; shoes, £45, ASOS.

Why? I have quite an understated style and I tend to go for darker colours. I don't think tracksuits should be worn outside the house -- they're not flattering.

Who? Nicole Scherzinger looks great in anything she wears. I'm not keen on Helena Bonham Carter's style, as it's a little too strange for me.

* Monthly spend £250-300

Lousie Vance (33), Fashion blogger, Belfast

Wore what? Dress, £50, Warehouse; neckerchief, gift, Whiting & Davis; shoes, £235, LK Bennett; bag, £150, Karen Millen.

Why? I like mixing high street items with designer labels and I'm all about dresses. I don't like grungy clothes such as lumberjack shirts on either men or women.

Who? I like the classic look of Audrey Hepburn and her stylish dresses. I'm not keen on Rita Ora's style as it can be too eclectic.

* Monthly spend £350

Rosanna Smyth (34), Teacher, Lisburn

Wore what? Top, £12, Internacionale; jeans, £110, Replay; boots, £10, The Sting, London; bag, £60, Zara.

Why? My style is casual with a twist and I can be quite girly -- I like going for bold tops with nice jeans. I think three-quarter length trousers are very unflattering on everyone.

Who? I love Alexa Chung and her quirky, vintage style. I don't like a fake, overdone look like the girls from TOWIE.

* Monthly spend £50-100
