Fashion Spy: 'Fearne Cotton’s fashion is very quirky'

This week Rachel Dean checks out all the latest looks and styles at the Ulster University’s Fashion Graduate Show at Belfast’s Europa Hotel.

Mariana Rodriguez (23), intern, Spain

Wore what? Top, £4, jeans, £23, coat, £23, all Zara; shoes, £50, Office.

Why? I like my look to be unique and flowery. I’m a big fan of Zara.

Who? Olivia Palermo (left) has a gorgeous style that  is really achievable.

Lauren McElwaine (22), sales adviser, Donegal

Wore what? Top, £10, Boohoo; skirt, £15, H&M; choker, £2, La Moda; coat, £40, Missguided; shoes, £100, Topshop; bag, £20, River Island.

Why? I prefer a structured look but my style is simple and feminine.

Who? Alexa Chung’s fashion sense is amazing. Everything suits her. She has a modest look which I love.

Cherith Hughes (22), designer, Dungannon

Wore what? Dress, £37, Zara; shoes, £20, boutique in Spain; necklace, £12, Mango.

Why? Simplicity is key with a lot of block colours. Having a nice silhouette is more important to me than following trends.

Who? Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is so stylish. Her figure is amazing and she dresses appropriately for it.

Raychel Murphy (22), student, Donegal

Wore what? Dress, £12, shoes, £7, both New Look; bag, gift.

Why? I would say my look is classic and timeless. I don’t follow trends but tend to go for things that are elegant all year round.

Who? If I was to raid anyone’s wardrobe, it would definitely be Blake Lively. Casual or dressy, she looks great.

Why? My personal style is boho chic but I try out a much brighter look in the summer.

Who? I love Fearne Cotton’s fashion sense — it’s very quirky and vibrant.

Why? If I had to describe my style in one word it would be edgy.

Who? Kim Kardashian’s look is amazing. I love the different outfits she wears, they always suit her shape.

Wore what? Top, £22, Miss Selfridge; skirt, £28, ASOS; shoes, £29.99, bag, £10, both New Look.

Why? My style is girly with a lot of pastel colours and I always try to dress for my shape.

Who? Taylor Swift’s look is a lot like mine. She always looks very feminine and wears a lot of bright pastels.

Jordan Robinson (23), designer, Carrickfergus

Wore what? Top, £13, shoes, £30, both New Look; jacket, £60, Topshop; skirt, £35, bag, £20, both River Island.

Why? I wear a mix of prints and block colours and always have a statement necklace, or something amongst my outfit that really stands out.

Who? Rihanna is a perfect style icon. She’s not afraid to go bold — it really reflects her personality.
