Fashion spy: Gemma Arterton's look is classy and chic

 

Our reporter Rachel Dean checks out the style in Victoria Square, Belfast and finds plenty of trendy people out and about.

Ashleigh Stobo (25), assistant manager, Belfast

Why? My style is more relaxed outside of work. I’m not much of a girly girl as I prefer dark colours and my casuals.

Who? I think Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is the perfect style icon. Her looks are effortless but eyecatching.

Why? My style is traditional and feminine. I follow trends and apply any that suit me.

Who? Emmy Rossum’s style is very feminine. I love how she always wears beautifully patterned skirts or dresses.

Why? My look could be described as timeless classic. I’m very feminine in the way I dress.

Who? I love Victoria Beckham’s style. Her looks suit all ages and sizes.

Why? My style is minimalistic, consisting of a lot of neutral tones and simple prints.

Who? Gemma Arterton’s look is classy and chic. She dresses really well for her figure. She seems to like the minimalist trend, too.

Why? I like dressing up a bit more for the weekend. I’m loving the embroidery trend at the moment — it’s so pretty.

Who? Frankie Bridge’s style is so classy and modern.

Why? I wear suits at work, so during my free time my style is much more subtle and girly. I love floral prints and classic cuts.

Who? Holly Willoughby dresses beautifully for her curves. I like that she wears both high street and designer brands.

Jennifer McGuigan (34), school principal, Belfast

Why? I dress smartly for work so outside of it I like my style to be a little more casual and chilled out.

Who? I love how elegant and fun Taylor Swift’s look is. I would never copy her style for myself, I just appreciate it.
