Fashion spy: I absolutely love Alexa Chung's look

Kate Richardson (24), business intern, Bangor

Why? I would describe my style as simple and casual, but very chic. I love having a splash of colour in my outfits.

Who? I absolutely love Alexa Chung’s look. It’s so edgy because she just does her own thing entirely.

Louise Armstrong (36), sales representative, Dromore

Wore what? Dress, £140, House of Fraser; shoes, £40, River Island; bag, £10, New Look.

Why? I could describe my style as smart casual. I try to keep it simple yet modern.

Who? I like how unique Fearne Cotton looks. It’s preppy and pretty which really suits her bubbly personality.

Hazel Hyde (72), retired, Newtownards

Wore what? Dress, £200 plus, Ted Baker; shoes, £90, Zamba; bag, £30, Brands and Norman.

Why? My style is classical and fun. I absolutely love dressing up and looking glamorous. I always wear bright, pretty colours rather than anything too bland.

Who? I have always appreciated Joanna Lumley’s sophisticated, glamorous style. She looks fab.

Paula Ritchie (38), supervisor, Portadown

Why? My look is so casual but

consists of bright, rather than dark or dull, colours. I wear a lot of purples and pinks — I’d say my style is very feminine.

Who? Holly Willoughby looks beautiful all of the time, no matter how casual her look. She has great style.

Adele Tate (40), retail manager, Dungannon

Why? I would say my style is very chic. Like everyone, I dress according to the season, the weather and the occasion.

Who? Victoria Beckham always wears the perfect outfit for every event she goes to. She has a way with fashion.

Evelyn Campbell (32), purchasing manager, Dungannon

Wore what? Dress, £60, River Island; necklace, £8, Oasis; shoes, £30, ASOS; bag, gift.

Why? My look is very classic, trendy and feminine. I would say I usually dress quite smartly because of my job. I love a classic, black dress — you can’t go wrong with that.

Why? I take a few style tips from American fashion blogger Pippa O’Connor as she’s elegant and on trend.

Elaine Rossborough (33), administrator, Londonderry

Wore what? Dress, £550, Versace; headpiece, £25, Accessorize; shoes, £35, bag, £15, both Next.

Why? I’m very casual during the week and then I love dressing up at the weekend or for events like this. I just do my own think with my look — I wear what I feel best in.

Who? I love Kate Middleton’s naturally elegant style. She’s so sophisticated.

Eimhear O’Kane (22), trainee solicitor, Londonderry

Wore what? Dress, £13, bag, £3, both Primark; shoes, £14, Next; necklace, gift, Fossil.

Why? My style consists of lots of different floral prints — I just love the flowery, girly look. I avoid dark and plain looks.

Who? Miranda Kerr wears a lot of springtime florals, too. I think her style is really cute and feminine.
