Fashion spy: 'I love how unique Selena Gomez is'

Our fashion reporter Rachel Dean checks out all the style in Victoria Square, Belfast.

Why? My style is very feminine, consisting of lots of light, soft colours. My look is a mixture of high street and designer styles.

Who? I really appreciate how achievable Alex Jones’ style is — she never goes over the top.  A lot of her looks are straight off the high street.

Kelly Bell (29), marketing assistant, Holywood

Why? My style is eclectic and feminine. I prefer darker, smart colours such as burgundy and navy.

Who? Alexa Chung’s classic, elegant look makes her an ideal style icon.

Stephanie Todd (24), financial analyst, Belfast

Why? I would describe my look as smart casual that includes toned-down and neutral colours.

Who? I like Camila Alves’ street style because it’s much more relaxed and simple compared to other celebrity looks.

Chloe Turner (23), manager, Bangor

Wore what? Shirt, £15, blazer, £30, both F&F; jeans, £38, Topshop; boots, £40, bag, £25, both River Island.

Why? My style could be described as smart casual with very girly aspects. I love wearing floral prints.

Who? Bambi Northwood-Blyth who models for F&F. Her looks are pretty and achievable.

Abigail Crockett (19), flight attendant, Belfast

Why? My look is simple and casual. I favour winter looks so I love wearing reds and greens at this time of the year.

Who? Pixie Lott’s style is preppy and pretty. She keeps her look simple but it’s still stunning.

Why? My style is casual but very modern and young. I like putting effort into my looks.

Who? I love how unique Selena Gomez is. Her style is modern and eye-catching.

Meabh Robinson (20), student, Lisburn

Why?  My style could easily be described as ‘dressy casual’. I love faux fur.

Who? I don’t really follow celebrity style icons, but I do love how fun Rihanna’s looks are.

Why? My style is very simple and feminine. I prefer lighter, pastel coloured or very monochrome looks.
