Fashion spy: I love Lucy Watson’s look. She doesn’t even have to try

Olivia Doherty (26), customer service advisor, Londonderry

Why? My look is on trend and I like to add my own twist. I often add bright, vibrant colours to my look.

Who? I really like Olivia Buckland’s style — she’s forever changing it up. Whether she’s in a glamorous or a casual outfit, she always looks stunning.

Danielle Smith (27), administrator, Dorset

Wore what? Top, £30, shoes, £65, bag, £30, all Topshop; jacket, £80, Debenhams; jeans, £35, Sports Girl (Australia); sunglasses, £300, Tiffany & Co.

Why? I follow a smart casual style. I prefer khaki and neutral colours over anything too eye-catching.

Who? I love Lucy Watson’s look. She’s so trendy, she doesn’t even have to try.

Alice McCaughey (22), science technician, Ballymena

Wore what? Top, £6.99, jacket, £40, both H&M; jeans, £110, Tommy Hilfiger; shoes, £22, Peacocks; bag, £300, Kate Spade.

Why? My look is very seasonal — I wear a lot of colour during the summer. My look is always modern, too.

Who? I usually just do my own thing but I am loving Margot Robbie at the moment. Her style is a little edgy.

Martina McAllister (48), secretary, Belfast

Why? In two words I would describe my style as classy and feminine. I definitely prefer pretty skirts over trousers or jeans.

Who? I think Amal Clooney is always dressed very classy and smart. She looks absolutely fab.

Denise Kelly (22), student, Armagh

Why? I mostly shop in Zara or H&M — they are most fitting to my own personal style compared to other stores. I love comfy floral tops.

Who? I think Rachel Bilson’s style is really pretty and unique.

Ruth Wilson (27), retail manager, Londonderry

Wore what? Top, £15, ASOS; trousers, £24, Dorothy Perkins; shoes, £40, River Island; sunglasses, £130, Ray-Ban; bag, £23, Accessorize.

Why? I would describe my style as ‘in season’ and ‘trendy’. I always have to be aware of changing fashion trends because of my job, so my look is always fresh.

Who? I love Millie Mackintosh’s boho festival style. I get a lots of style tips from her, especially the way she wears her hair.

Rebecca Murray (21), student, Lurgan

Why? I would say my look is quite boho-inspired. I always wear patterned dresses or flowy tops and jeans.

Why? Olivia Palermo is great at matching items out of the ordinary. I just love her individuality when it comes to fashion.

Alex McGregor (23), student, Ballymena

Why? My style is a little different. I love finding vintage looking items in high street stores.

Who? Gigi Hadid’s style is so cool, especially her most casual looks.
