Wore what? Jumper, £10, Topshop; coat, £50, New Look; trousers, £45, River Island; hat, £20, Warehouse; boots, £25, F&F; bag, £600, Mulberry.

Why? My style during the winter season is quite minimal but very cosy. I love big hats and jumpers during this time of year.

Who? I think Millie Mackintosh is a perfect style icon because her look is quirky.

Caitlin Connolly (19), student, Belfast

Wore what? Jumper, £20, Forever 21; coat, £75, ASOS; jeans, £95, Joe’s Jeans; shoes, £70, Dolce Vita; bag, £1,210, Louis Vuitton.

Why? My look could be described as comfy chic. I like to keep my outfits simple and pretty; I prefer neutral tones over bold colours.

Who? Victoria Beckham is great with fashion, she always looks well put together. She’s been wearing flats recently rather than heels and I much prefer flats for my casual style.
