Orlaith Strong (31), childminder, Belfast

Wore what? Jacket, £25, New Look; shirt, £35, shoes, £30, River Island; jeans, £42, Topshop; bag, £70, Guess.

Why? My style is casual but I like to have a bit of bling. I tend to match the colours in my outfits too.

Who? Kourtney Kardashian is much better dressed than the rest of her sisters. Her style is more understated and not quite so out there.

Jessica Steele (19), student, Belfast

Wore what? Top, £30, Forever 21; leggings, £35, Jack Wills; boots, £35, Pull & Bear; bag, £70, Bershka.

Why? Boho chic is my style but I also like to follow trends.

Who? India Ward — she’s an Instagram fashionista and is always very stylish.

Kim Chivers (54), customer services, Glengormley

Wore what? Jacket, £15, F&F; jumpsuit, £20, Gap; sandals, £11, River Island; bag, £28, TK Maxx.

Why? I have a modern style and am not scared to be a little different. I’m a bargain hunter and try to buy things that I can dress up.

Who? Kate Middleton looks lovely — she’s sophisticated, fashionable and beautiful.

Trisha McMaster (47), sign language interpreter, Glengormley

Wore what? Top, £20, New Look; jeans, £40, Oasis; shoes, £70, bag, £60, Aldo.

Why? I’m still a bit of a rock chick and I love wearing heels with skinny jeans and a nice top.

Who? Cher in her glam rock days.

Megan Loughran (23), student, Ballynahinch

Wore what? Jumper, £10, Misguided; jeans, £40, Zara; shoes, £72, Office; bag, £100, Fiorelli.

Why? I like to wear fitted clothes even when I’m in jeans and I never go out without my heels.

Who? Kim Kardashian has a fantastic bodycon style and doesn’t go for bright colours.

Louise McNaughton (54), housewife, Belfast

Wore what? Cardigan, £70, dress, £60, Liberty Blue; shoes, £14, Next; bag, £40, A-Wear.

Why? I like vintage clothes — the Sixties were my favourite period and I always do my hair and make-up from that time.

Who? I love any of the vintage stars like Jean Harlow or Marilyn Monroe.

Laura O’Neill (21), student, Belfast

Wore what? Dress, £70, Reiss; jacket, £50, bag, £35, River Island; shoes, £475, Louboutin.

Why? I have a very conservative style so I rarely wear patterns. I really like light, neutral colours.

Who? Pippa Middleton has a lovely style and always looks classy.

Sharon Riddell (24), IT consultant, Belfast

Wore what? Coat, £65, Mango; dress, £10, bag, £40, River Island; shoes, £20, New Look.

Why? In work I wear dresses and heels, then I go much more casual — I like shorts and overalls for the summer.

Who? While the Olsen sisters’ style is quite alternative they always look good.
