Our reporter Kerry McKittrick checks out all the style at Victoria Square, Belfast.

Carolyn Auld (22), spa therapist, Carrickfergus:

Wore what? Top, £38, jeans, £40, bag, £18,  all Warehouse; boots, £35, River Island.

Why? My style is quite classic and I love accessories. To be honest, I don't try to follow trends but wear what reflects my personality.

Who? I like what the X Factor's Caroline Flack wears - she's always nicely dressed. Cara Delevingne is currently an it-girl of style, but in my opinion she's too trendy.

Connie McConville (49), designer, Ballyward:

Wore what? Jacket, £40, River Island; dress, £90, Desigual; bag, £100, Armani; shoes, £50, Warehouse.

Why? I dress appropriately for what I'm doing and like to mix and match high street and designer.

Who? Ellie Goulding can work a lot of different looks really well, and I like that. For the same reason, I don't like what Victoria Beckham wears - all her outfits look rather similar.

Carrie Lee (25), restaurant supervisor, Newry:

Wore what? Kimono, £22, Exhibit; top, £5, Dunnes; bag, £45, jeans, £40, River Island; trainers, £45, Sports Direct.

Why? Comfort is king, so I love wearing jeans and trainers. I'm really not a girly girl when it comes to fashion, so you won't see me in anything too clingy.

Who? Little Mix's Perrie Edwards always puts her look together well, but Kylie Jenner gets the thumbs down from me - everything she wears is too revealing.

Chloe Murtagh (24), sales assistant, Belfast:

Wore what? Hat, £12, top, £25, waistcoat, £18, trousers, £40, bag, £45, all River Island; shoes, £65, JD Sports.

Why? I go for a funky style and like to follow trends - I never wear a dress - it's just not me.

Who? Kate Moss is my style icon, she really nails laid back elegance.

Julie Brown (42), IT manager, Lake District:

Wore what? Dress, £50, Red Herring; jacket, £100, Joules; bag, £25; Lovy; trainers, £35, Fat Face.

Why? I always wear dresses and I like to mix formal and casual. I never wear jeans, they're just not feminine enough for me.

Who? Not surprisingly, I love the dresses Holly Willoughby wears, which always look amazing. Dark colours and the rock chick look you see Jesse J in aren't really my cup of tea.

Lily Lestrange (19), student, Belfast:

Wore what? Jacket, £15, Gap; shirt, £40, Cos; trousers, £50, Weekday; shoes, £60, Reebok.

Why? I like to be co-ordinated and match colours as much as possible, so I tend to avoid patterns.

Who? I'm a fan of FKA Twigs' style as, like me, she's quite co-ordinated. Someone like Pixie Lott stands out as a popstar who slavishly follows fashion instead of wearing what suits her.

Megan Laverty (29), teacher, Belfast:

Wore what? Coat, £70, top, £30, Zara; bag, £35, River Island; jeans, £38, Topshop; trainers, £60, Schuh.

Why? My style is relaxed and I like pastel colours, so anything too formal, such as a suit, isn't in my wardrobe.

Who? Rosie Huntington-Whiteley always looks chic, even when she's dressed casually. Kerry Katona always seems to be in sports clothing - it's not a good look for her.
