Our reporter Kerry McKittrick checks out the style in Cornmarket, Belfast and finds plenty of trendy people out and about.

Robyn Munro (21), nurse, Carrickfergus

Wore What? Top, £10, H&M; jeans, £20, Tesco; sandals, £10, Primark; bag, £10, New Look.

Why? My style is colourful, especially when the sun is out. I also tend to wear jeans with flats all the time.

Who? I really like Kim Kardashian’s style – she always looks fantastic.

Wendy Morris (40), finance worker, Belfast

Wore What? Top, £35, Vela; skirt, £35, Topshop; shoes, £136, Jessica Simpson; bag, £150, Therapy from House of Fraser.

Why? My style is different — I never wear flats and I don’t mind splashing out on pieces I know will last.

Who? Gigi Hadid has her own style and carries it off well.

Hannah McAteer (22), retail assistant, Belfast

Wore What?: Top, £5, Primark; culottes, £42, Topshop; sandals, £24, New Look; bag, £40, Monsoon.

Why?: My style is elegant — I like to colour block or only wear very simple patterns.

Who?: I think Selena Gomez has a nice style. It’s colourful but not over the top.

Why? I like to dress a little differently, usually with a bit of an edge. I’m not one to follow trends.

Who? I really like how Alexa Chung dresses. She has a nice, quirky style and is known for pushing boundaries in fashion.

Why? I wear a lot of boho chic mainly with skirts in the summer.

Who? Vanessa Hudgens has a fun and funky style.

Dolores O’Reilly (66), clerical officer, Glengormley

Wore What? Top, £7, Matalan; jeans, £20, sandals, £12, Marks & Spencer; jacket, £20, bag, £9, Zara.

Why? I like bright colours and have a casual style but I don’t wear jeans that often.

Who? Angelina Jolie dresses really well. She always looks elegant no matter what she wears.

Why? My style is quite rockabilly so I like vintage clothes that are very feminine.

Who? Paloma Faith has a really edgy style and isn’t scared to be different.

Why? My fashion sense is quite casual, though I do wear dresses often. I also make a point of wearing heels when I go out for a special occasion.

Who? I really like Khloe Kardashian’s look — she has a nice classic style.
