Future debuts streetwear clothing collaboration

Future is stepping into the rag trade.

Rapper Future has launched a career in fashion with a line of streetwear in collaboration with Neff Headwear.

The Commas star is following in the footsteps of artists such as Kanye West and Drake with a new clothing venture, thanks to his partnership with the Southern California-based firm.

Future's line features affordable items such as hoodies, t-shirts, and accessories, and he tells Pret-a-Reporter he hopes this is just the start of his career in fashion.

"Eventually yes, I would launch my own brand," he tells the website. "But the time has to be right. Quality is everything to me and I perfect everything I do. So when the time is right, I would definitely consider launching a line or collaboration."

And Future considers his new project an organic move, since he has always incorporated style into his rap persona.

"My style is a part of my music," he says. "You can't be an artist and not put any thought or effort into the way you appear. Even if it comes off natural, everyone has a fashion sense. I've been conscious of that since day one, I’m into fly s**t."

Bosses at Neff Headwear have previously teamed up with the likes of other artists such as Snoop Dogg and DJ Deadmau5 for style collaborations.
