Gemma Arterton makes sure she gets plenty of uses out of her most "extravagant jumper".

The British actress has access to all the hottest designers and is often lent stunning gowns for her red-carpet appearances.

It's helped her appreciate high fashion and even add some luxe pieces to her everyday wardrobe. But to ease the guilt of overspending, the 29-year-old makes sure she gets plenty of use out of her most lavish purchases.

"My Valentino sweater is the most extravagant jumper I’ve splashed out on, but I rarely leave the house without it," she assured British ES Magazine.

"It’s got a red heart on it and is embroidered with the words ‘These eyes are the eyes of a woman in love’. In summer, I pair it with shorts, and I always match my shoes to my sweater."

The star keeps an eye on her weight and always rocks a trim and toned figure. One of the huge benefits of being a star is that when she does hit the gym, Gemma can do it in style.

"Running is my workout of choice. I do Pilates because my best friend is a fantastic instructor. I’m lucky to be sent sportswear by all the different labels," she smiled.

Gemma headed to the British Designer Collective press launch last month, where she had the chance to show off her amazing figure and great fashion sense in a cute lilac shift dress and sparkly heels. She's an ambassador for the organisation, which showcases creations by both established and emerging designers.
