Georgia May Jagger heavily involved with denim line
Georgia May Jagger has been hands-on when creating her new jeans, handing in sketches and watching the design process.
The model is the face of denim company Hudson, and last year she announced she was creating a range of jeans for the company. She has been inspired by rock band Guns N’ Roses while coming up with ideas for the legwear, which she has worked on with Hudson’s head designer and creative director Benjamin Taverniti.
The collection will be called Hudson by Georgia May Jagger, and the 19-year-old will also model it.
“Reps from the brand tell us that Jagger submitted sketches and oversaw the design process, which resulted in five styles in a range of washes,” reports People.
The pieces will hit stores next month, and Georgia can’t wait to see what people make of them. She has previously admitted some of the styles draw inspiration from items in her supermodel mother Jerry Hall’s closet, with every piece having skinny legs. They come in black, white and blue.
“My collection has a whole new cut, they are based on the style of jeans my mum wore in Texas in the 70s,” she said. “They are not high-waisted, but they are a mid-rise, which is great for us shorter girls.”
