Gwen Stefani: Fashion and family clash

Gwen Stefani "had to walk away" from her fashion label for a while to focus on family.

The No Doubt front woman has juggled her singing career with her fashion label L.A.M.B for a number of years. But after becoming pregnant with her third son Apollo, now seven months, she had to take a step back to focus on her family.

"It was really hard for me to do much else, so I kind of had to walk away," she revealed to People magazine. "It's really hard, but I've always liked to clash things. You get to be in one world, and the next minute you're in another world."

But the 44-year-old couldn't stay away for too long and earlier this month she made a triumphant return at New York Fashion Week. Her latest collection for L.A.M.B featured a staggering 90 pieces, which Gwen described as bohemian and tribal-inspired.

"It reflects where I am right now," she said. "Everything kind of aligned."

Her life is looking pretty rosy at the moment, all things considered. She is happily married to Gavin Rossdale and gets to take her two eldest boys Kingston, eight, and Zuma, six, to school. She has also just joined the latest series of The Voice in the US as a coach alongside Pharrell Williams, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine.

"It's an amazing time in my life," she added. "I get to be doing it all."

Gwen isn't resting on her laurels though and is already coming up with more ideas for her label.

"I'm doing new Harajuku Lovers fragrances that I've been working on for forever," she revealed. "They also reflect where I am right now, which is totally surreal because I worked on them so long ago and it all coincides in a weird unplanned way. I love when that happens."
