Gwyneth Paltrow to launch Goop magazine with Anna Wintour

Gwyneth Paltrow is thrilled to be working with fashion "powerhouse" Anna Wintour on a new Goop magazine.

Gwyneth Paltrow is gearing up to launch a Goop lifestyle magazine.

The Oscar-winning actress launched her brand, which recently added another perfume to its offerings, in 2008 via an online platform.

The company is now set to team up with publishing company Conde Nast, home of publications including GQ, Glamour and Tatler, on a quarterly special print issue set to launch in September (17).

A Goop spokesperson noted most of the content will be original material produced by Goop writers, while Conde Nast will provide visuals and images. Articles on topics such as health and fitness, cooking, style and design will feature in the magazine, reflecting the lifestyle-centric subjects covered by Goop. Digital and social content will also be a focus.

The venture came about following a conversation between Iron Man star Gwyneth and Anna Wintour, Conde Nast artistic director and editor-in-chief of America's Vogue magazine.

"Anna is a powerhouse, and one of the most admirable thought-leaders in media," Gwyneth told WWD. "Collaborating with her and Conde Nast on this multiplatform content partnership, anchored by Goop's emergence into a physical entity, was an opportunity for us to push our boundaries visually and deliver Goop's point of view to consumers in new, dynamic ways."

In return, fashion expert Anna praised the actress' ability to provide a modern take on people's lifestyles through the Goop website. Stating the 44-year-old mother-of-two has "wonderful taste and vision", Anna is thrilled to be collaborating with Gwyneth and her brand.

"Goop and Conde Nast are natural partners and I'm excited she's bringing her point of view to the company. We all look forward to working with her and her team," Anna shared.

This partnership comes after Goop teamed up with Net-a-Porter to sell its beauty products on the online retailer's website. Fans can visit Goop's first ever beauty pop-up store, Shiso Psychic by Goop, in New York on Saturday (29Apr17), where they can buy its second fragrance Shiso Edition 02.
