Hailee Steinfeld's nail-art beauty look has been revealed by the salon that created it.
The 16-year-old showed off an elaborate manicure at the convention held in San Diego last weekend.
Hailee's hands featured five bright and fun nail designs, which were inspired by her movie Ender's Game.
The salon where Hailee had her fingertips painted is celebrity favourite West Hollywood’s esNAIL Salon.
Ellie Ames who works at the star hot spot shared the details of the young actress's sci-fi mani with Entertainment Weekly PopStyle.
“Everything was her idea,” Ellie admitted. “She brought [along] some pictures of those designs.”
The nail art featured dragon and salamander logos along with traditional pop art by Roy Lichtenstein and a comic book 'Pow' sketch.
The salon's general manger Miho Okawara used gel nail colours to draw each design onto Hailee's tips, which took about two hours.
Ellie says the teen style icon was thrilled with the finished look, which also pleased Comic-Con beauty geeks too.
The professional nail art can be created for non-celebrity customers at esNAIL’s Melrose Avenue boutique.
Ellie says the special procedure can include whichever add-ons the customer would like, such as Swarovski crystals, 3D art and stickers.
“We always like to create nail designs from a picture,” Ellie added about the complex beauty trend.
The actress's wardrobe for the weekend of press events was made up of three stand-out looks. First Hailee sported a Kenzo 'Maxi-Eye' dress for the Ender's Game photo call. She then changed into a simple Michael Kors top and pants for the panel discussion for the film. To complete her trio of fashion hits, Hailee donned a bold Bibhu Mohapatra printed top and trumpet skirt.
