Hilary Duff has transformed her long locks once again, swapping “mermaid” green for an ombre pink hue.

The 27-year-old took to Instagram on Monday to show off the results of her latest makeover.

The Younger actress has opted for a brighter hue just one month after embracing the “mermaid” green look.

“#nofilter #sparks,” she captioned the sultry image, in which she is sporting a matching bright pink pout, along with tagging the hair and make-up team responsible for her new ’do.

The mother-of-one has been experimenting with her look a lot of late. The formerly beachy blonde singer-and-actress first transitioned to green on March 18, once again taking to social media to share the results fresh from the hairdresser’s chair.

“@Ambahhh turned me into a mermaid last night ... love all u girls @riawnacapri @nikkilee901 @ninezeroone xx,” she captioned the photo.

But it seems that just one month later, she’s already grown tired of the hue. But rather than go back to blonde, she’s opted to embrace the trend for colour.

The star's roots actually appear to be an ash, almost white blonde, which then blends into a bright pinky-purple hue, with a few scattered ash strands among them.

The hairstyle perfectly complements Hilary's top, which features bright pink sequins that sparkle in the sunlight.

Hilary of course isn’t the first star to experiment with the pink look, with fellow celebs including Nicole Richie, Julianne Hough and Katy Perry just a few who have also sported a similar style.
