Hilary Swank posts premiere preparation
Hilary Swank felt she was "living the dream" in a tiny monochrome dress at The Homesman premiere yesterday.
The Oscar-winning actress promoted The Homesman at the AFI Festival in Los Angeles last night, a dramatic western about a group of "mad women" who are being transported across the country.
Yesterday she joined her co-stars at the event in a gorgeous monochrome minidress. She looked absolutely stunning - which could be down to some quick make-up application before she faced the photographers.
"Last minute touch up before heading onto the red carpet. #TheHomesman #WheresTommyLeeJones? (sic)," she wrote on Instagram, attaching a snap of herself putting on lipstick in the car.
Tommy did make it on time in the end, wearing a grey suit and purple patterned tie. The Hollywood legend not only stars in The Homesman, but also directed and helped write the flick.
Hilary, 40, rocked the short dress on the red carpet, which featured a white brocade top and skirt, with a small panel of black material at the midriff. A split in the front of the skirt showed a black underlay and the actress finished things off with a black clutch and strappy heels.
She took time to thank her hairstylist, who worked her locks into a quiff with small plaits woven in, and her make-up artist, who opted for black liner with silver eyeshadow and pearly pink lips.
"Behind the scenes getting ready for my big night!! THE HOMESMAN opens this Fri, Nov 14th. Thank you @karayoshimotobua @robertvetica for all your help!! #premiere getting ready for the #redcarpet #livingthedream (sic)," she wrote on Instagram, with a picture of herself being styled for the occasion.
Also on the red carpet was her 17-year-old co-star Hailee Steinfeld, who looked super cute in a purple gown with a bandeau violet top and a textured, patterned lilac midi skirt.
