Hunnam fronts Klein's latest fragrance

Charlie Hunnam enjoyed capturing a life of "luxury and glamour" in his campaign for Calvin Klein's Reveal fragrance.

The handsome actor models for the brand's latest offering Reveal Men, in which he smoulders in a black shirt while gazing into the camera.

Charlie was impressed with Calvin Klein's aim for the campaign and welcomed the job alongside his busy TV and movie career.

“Everyone always thinks the film business is so glamorous, and it really isn’t at all. Most of the time I’m up at 5 am working outside in the beating sun from sunrise to sunset in some dusty hell of a location," he mused to WWD. "I mean, I love the business, but it’s not at all glamorous. The fashion world - and fragrance [world] - is all about capturing the idea of aspirational living, the most extreme luxury and glamour that life has to offer, and Calvin Klein created that feeling with this shoot.”

He also revealed he used to rip out magazine advertisements for Calvin Klein's iconic CK One scent and cover his bedroom wall with them as a teenager.

Photographer duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott captured the print shots alongside Doug Lloyd, while Jonas Åkerlund and Doug worked on the TV advertisements.

Steve Mormoris, chief marketing officer, fragrances, for Coty Inc. - who work alongside Calvin Klein on their scents - praised the brand's choice of star.

“Reveal Men Calvin Klein epitomizes the uncompromisingly masculine and bold attitude of the modern man,” he said. “Charlie perfectly speaks to men who want to intrigue, challenge and seduce.”

The print shots will appear in February and March of next year, with the scent launching in February. It features notes such as pear brandy, crystallised ginger and golden amber.
