Iggy perfect for Revolve

Iggy Azalea was the perfect choice for Revolve's summer campaign says CEO.

The e-commerce site thinks that Iggy was the natural choice to front their summer campaign, crediting her quirky fashion sense and savvy style choices for the appointment.

The campaign will officially drop in May, with the blonde singer showing off her enviable curves in a series of different outfits, ideal for sunny weather.

"Iggy is perfectly in line with our brand,” gushed Michael Mente, co-chief executive officer and cofounder of Revolve, to WWD. “Revolve is a little bit outside of the mainstream. Our customer is risk-taking and confident, and Iggy is the perfect embodiment of that. Revolve is not about playing it safe.”

Dressed in a white bandage style crop top and floral sleeved white biker jacked, Iggy sizzles in front of the camera with her portrait wrist tattoo clearly on show.

The 23-year-old Australian star is well known for her bold and colourful outfits. Far from caring about designer labels, Iggy wears whatever she feels comfortable in.

“I love busy and bright prints for summer. I don’t really care what brand something is as long as it fits my personal style. It can be low or high end and I will love it,” Iggy explained.

But Iggy isn't quite ready to leave the singing world behind to venture into fashion and is content with just modelling clothes for the moment.

“I don’t have any ambition to work in the fashion industry, although I love its quirkiness. I’d prefer to remain a fan and spectator who enjoys the fun of clothing,” she assured.

Started 11 years ago, Revolve carries approximately 500 brands, with particular emphasis on emerging designers.

Blurred Lines model Emily Ratajkowski, who starred in Robin Thicke's racy music video, was the subject of Revolve's spring campaign.

“Both Emily and Iggy are on the cusp of blowing up and becoming big," Michael mused.
