Iggy recovered from boob job in four days
Iggy Azalea was back performing on stage just four days after having her breasts enlarged.
The 24-year-old singer opened up about her change in appearance during an interview with Vogue magazine’s April issue.
"Four months ago, I got bigger boobs! I'd thought about it my entire life,” Iggy told the publication.
And now details of the procedure have been revealed.
According to Us Weekly, Iggy opted to undergo the Flash Recovery treatment with Dr. Ashkan Ghavami in Beverly Hills.
The procedure is specially designed to allow patients to get back on their feet in a much shorter time period than is usually required following a breast enlargement.
And the Fancy rapper took full advantage of the quicker recovery time.
In fact, just four days after having the surgery on November 19 last year, Iggy was back on stage performing alongside Jennifer Lopez at the American Music Awards.
While fans were unaware of the change to Iggy’s appearance, the singer had to enlist the help of the costume department to ensure she was comfortable onstage.
Us Weekly quotes an insider as saying there was “no way” Iggy could wear one of her favoured low-cut ensembles because of the bruises resulting from the procedure.
Instead, she wore a high-cut neck dress with “bandages underneath covering her entire chest”.
And the dance moves also had to be altered to make sure that Iggy didn’t overexert herself.
The singer performed Fancy and Beg for It alongside Charli XCX, before Jennifer Lopez joined her onstage to belt out their duet Booty.
