Jennifer Lopez’s birthday dress designer Bao Tranchi did everything in her power to “redisplay” the sexy star’s body in a way the public has never seen before.

The superstar celebrated turning 46 years old at 1OAK in Southampton on Saturday night, donning a gorgeous black dress by Bao Tranchi with mesh and sheer panelling that showed off her killer curves to the bash.

The piece has been lauded by fashionistas like Kim Kardashian for being super hot and designer Bao did everything she could to make the dress original.

“It was coming up with a fresh approach to sexy J. Lo. like ‘How do we redisplay her body in a new way that we’ve haven’t seen yet?'” she told the New York Daily News of her design challenge. “When you have so much going on you want people to just see the graphic cutouts and her body. It’s edgy without trying so hard.”

Bao instituted a strategy with the placement of her geometric cutouts and panels, which were located along Jennifer’s neckline, back and hip area.

The designer wanted the On the Floor songstress to have her famous rear end highlighted by the dress’ panelling structure.

“It covers up everything that needs to be covered,” Bao said before noting mesh is “actually very easy to wear”.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kim took to Twitter on Sunday to drool over how sexy Jennifer looked in the outfit, writing: “Damn!!!!! How hot does @jlo look!!!!! She will forever be my idol!!!! #BodyGoals (sic)”.

But other people were critical of the attire. Some folks slammed the star, who is mother of seven-year-old twins Max and Emme, for wearing such a revealing outfit.

Designer Bao thinks it’s ridiculous to receive criticism for looking good, no matter the age.

"Does age really matter if you have a banging body? Why are we as society shaming other people for loving the skin we're in?” she asked. “It's like 'I'm 46, I'm a mother. I've been doing this, it's my birthday.'”
