Ivanka Trump describes Blake Lively as "polished".

The heiress-and-former model has made a name for herself in the world of fashion, working for the likes of Tommy Hilfiger and Versace in her heyday.

Speaking about which celebrity's style she admires the most, Ivanka was quick to name the Gossip Girl star.

"Blake Lively. She is absolutely polished, but she has a funky edge to it," she told ahlanlive.com. "I love Diane Kruger too – she wears clothes so effortlessly. Grace Kelly [is my fashion icon] – classic Hollywood glamour."

Ivanka also has her own namesake label featuring clothes, footwear and jewellery. Being a businesswoman with a wardrobe which most ladies would envy allows the 32-year-old beauty to mix things up on a day-to-day basis.

"I tend to wear dresses that I can glam up with heels and accessories. I think women are able to push boundaries and allow their sense of style to shine through in their workwear as there isn’t a strict uniform," she explained. "I always opt for feminine styles and I love structured pieces. It’s very important to find something that fits you properly.

"The Ivanka Trump pump from my own fashion line. It’s so comfortable. I think it’s important to wear flat shoes and dress down at the weekend. Of course, always having an elegant black shift dress in the wardrobe is my other essential, just in case!"

Ivanka, who has daughter Arabella and son Joseph with husband Jared Kushner, has favourite brands when it comes to her beauty regime. While they may not be targeted at her, the star enjoys the feeling she gets from them.

"My friend Jessica Alba has her own brand of baby products called The Honest Company," Ivanka smiled. "Although they’re designed for babies I actually use them on myself as they are great for sensitive skin and really good for you. She has done so well."
