Jaime King prefers to switch up her beauty products from time to time.

The 36-year-old actress attended the Birchbox Road Trip Pop-Up last week.

She enjoyed being at the event because she values the service Birchbox provides, as it is a company which sends subscribers four to five new beauty and grooming products per month in a gift box.

“It’s something about having a little surprise that comes every month to me is really fun and really exciting," Jaime told ET Online. "People get to sample a lot of different things."

Although she likes the variety Birchbox offers when it comes to beauty products, Jaime has previously spoken about her love of multi-use makeup.

The pragmatism of using just one item on multiple areas of her face appeals primarily due to her busy schedule.

"I love anything that you can use in multiple ways - I'm all about the practicality of one product for your lips, your cheeks and your eyes," she smiled to US OK! magazine.

Jaime is not high-maintenance at all when it comes to a beauty regimen.

She does not believe in overdoing it, especially when it comes to styling locks.

"I don't really do anything with my hair... I only wash it once a week," she revealed. "I love Oribe's Signature Shampoo because it doesn't feel like it's weighing my hair down."

The former model often shares hair tips. Last year Jaime spoke about how she thinks women should "always" go lighter for the summer, admitting she often tries to convince her friends to mix things up a bit.
