Jen An: I’m a Greek goddess

Jennifer Aniston feels great when the endorphins kick in during exercise

The 45-year-old actress looks as youthful now as she did when she first graced our TV screens as Rachel Green in Friends, which wrapped up ten years ago.

When asked how she manages to keep up her appearance Jennifer put her stunning looks down to her family's background.

"I don't have any special regime as such. I think I'm blessed with good genes, which kind of helps. Whenever I look at my dad I kind of marvel at how he hardly has any wrinkles and now he's 81, so I'm sure I've benefited from that and my Greek heritage," she smiled to British magazine Look.

"One thing I do though on a regular daily basis is to drink a lot of water, practise yoga and eat very healthy. I do a 20-minute workout at least four or five times a week and also make sure I get a good night's sleep, even if I'm working on a film and have an early call time."

It may be a hectic schedule for the star but she doesn't allow herself to be held back by tiredness when it comes to keeping fit. She admits to toning down her excising slightly, but with that comes tabloid tales about being pregnant.

"When you start to get endorphins going, then you feel great and you just keep on going. But actually for the last year and a half I went from being a crazy workout girl to sort of saying, 'My body wants a little break,'" she explained. "The only downside to that of course is that there's a couple of extra pounds and 4,000 pregnancy rumours too, but you know, other than that, it all feels great."
