Jenner sisters launch handbag collection
The siblings' latest accessories come with furry charms inspired by Kylie's greyhounds.
Kylie and Kendall Jenner's new handbag collection has been teased to fans online.
The sisters announced the accessories line in April (16), as part of expansion plans for their Kendall + Kylie brand, and now the first images of the bags, that are sure to be a must-have item, have appeared on the Internet, via fashion blogs.
As revealed earlier this year (16), the range will arrive in August at select U.S. retailers, including Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdale's, but it launched at Saks Fifth Avenue on Tuesday (12Jul16).
The collection features 18 bag styles in multiple colours and come with furry charms, inspired by Kylie's pet greyhounds Norman and Bambi.
The price of the new handbags range from $75 (£56) to $450 (£339).
"I love that we played with all different sizes, from mini to large," Kylie says in a statement. "A good handbag is functional and easy to use, without compromising the design or overall look. Each design definitely makes its own statement."
The teenager will be hoping the new accessories line is as big a hit as her Kylie Lip Kit products, which became a huge must-have item last year (15), constantly selling out online.
Despite the success, Jenner's Kylie Cosmetics make-up line was recently slapped with an F grade by officials at America's Better Business Bureau after racking up a slew of customer complaints.
Some consumers were disappointed with the quality of customer service after representatives reportedly failed to respond to various complaints, ranging from security breaches to missing packages.
Kylie has since revealed officials at the Better Business Bureau have reviewed the situation and changed their "failed rating" to a better one.
"I'm continuing to learn and I just want to make everyone happy," she told fans in a statement online. "Because so many of you spoke out, I'm excited to tell you that the Better Business Bureau has looked at the facts and changed the rating.
"I don't want to respond to the haters but you guys deserve an answer and to know the facts. I love you and apologize to anyone who felt the urge to complain and didn't receive the service they deserve."
