Jennifer Lawrence made a red hot arrival to last night's Golden Globe Awards in a strapless red Christian Dior Haute Couture gown.
The actress joined a whole host of other leading ladies in opting to wear a red coloured dress to the prestigious awards ceremony held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel yesterday.
Jennifer confessed that she had only tried on two dresses before making a decision on her outfit.
"I don't really know what haute means, but I had to say it," Jennifer told E! News on the red carpet about her frock.
Jennifer added Brian Atwood shoes, Chopard jewellery and a Ferragamo clutch to complete her look.
To accentuate the full and fabulous Dior creation, Jennifer wore her hair pulled off her face which served to draw attention to her tiny cinched in waist.
The proportions of the gown were also highlighted thanks to the understated drop earrings and mini clutch handbag.
The 22-year-old beauty went on to scoop the prize for the Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for her role in Silver Linings Playbook.
Jennifer managed to maintain her poise while accepting the accolade despite earlier admitting that she had come down with the flu prior to the event.
Other Hollywood stars who made hit style statements at the 70th annual awards ceremony included Jessica Alba and Jennifer Lopez.
Both beauties opted for sexy gowns in shades of nude, a noted favourite colour seen at the event.
Jennifer opted for a figure hugging flesh-coloured Zuhair Murad gown featuring an ivory embroidered lace overlay with beading detail which strategically covered her modesty.
The singer wore her honey-hued tresses out to the side in an Old-Hollywood style and accessorised with nude Christian Louboutin heels and a metallic clutch.
New mom Claire Danes went for an orangey red coloured Versace gown, and discussed the trials of dressing for a ceremony one month after giving birth.
"I am very strapped into this dress. It's Versace and they are masters of illusions," Claire said on the red carpet.
Other stars who wore shades of delicate blush coloured gowns also included Megan Fox in Dolce & Gabbana, Amy Adams in Marchesa and Hayden Panettiere in Roberto Cavalli.
