Jessica Alba: Fashion can be catty
Jessica Alba loves her new stylist because he isn't "catty".
The stunning actress hates the negative vibe that comes from talking badly about other people, which she has encountered in the fashion industry.
Discovered by celebrity fashion expert Rachel Zoe, Brad Goreski was recommended to Jessica by Elle magazine's creative director Joe Zee.
The 30-year-old said that his placid personality sealed the deal for her when they first met.
"I don't like people who talk bad about other people. I like someone who's not, like, catty. Not a bad thing comes out of his mouth about anyone. In fashion people tend to be competitive. They start saying nasty things and I don't want that energy around me or my children," she told US publication NY Daily News.
"He [Brad]'s great, he's so sweet. I worked with the same stylist from age 18 to last year and I was going on this press tour so I was like, I need someone [new]."
The gorgeous star also spoke about her own forays into design. Jessica has developed her own business in the form of an organic baby care line called The Honest Co.
Stocking eco-friendly diapers, biodegradable wipes and organic bath and skin care, the mother-of-two revealed that her love of fashion played into range. The diapers are printed with unusual patterns such as gingham, anchors and skulls.
"I was like, I love Alexander McQueen so I thought there just needed to be skulls," she explained. "Almost like an homage."
