Jessica Chastain goes for texture
Jessica Chastain looked beautiful in Roksanda Ilincic at the opening night of the AFI Festival in Los Angeles yesterday.
The redheaded star rarely puts a designer shoe-clad foot wrong when it comes to style and yesterday at the AFI Festival in Los Angeles was no exception. She looked gorgeous, stepping out in a dark grey Roksanda Ilincic gown with a 3D, raised pattern.
Jessica, 37, knows exactly what flatters her shape, going for a dress with a nipped-in waist and a flared, '50s-style skirt. The sleeveless style also made sure she could show off her toned arms.
The actress decided to keep her accessories and make-up simple, to really help the cute outfit take the spotlight. A nude lip was complemented by her radiant complexion, while strappy, sparkly Nicholas Kirkwood sandals adorned her feet.
On the red carpet, Jessica posed with her co-star Oscar Isaac, who was sporting a new bit of facial hair. Usually clean shaven, the Hollywood star decided to try a moustache for the event.
Before the premiere, Jessica took to her Whosay blog to share a snap of herself with two male friends.
"#regram @kristoferbuckle heading to the AFI opening night premiere of #AMostViolentYear with these two studs (sic)," she captioned the shot.
While fans are more used to seeing her look glam, the star recently revealed she'd be happy to slip into some spandex should the right superhero film come along.
“People have asked me if I’d be interested in playing a superhero or doing a superhero film. And absolutely, but for me, in any genre of film that you do… I want to be part of it,” Jessica recently told IGN.com.
“So if I’m doing a superhero film, I want to wear a costume, I want a fight scene, I don’t want to be the girlfriend or the civilian that’s taking care of superheroes or whatever. I want to be part of the action. So if they came a calling that sounds very cool.”
