Jessica Simpson 'takes Kim diet tips'
Kim Kardashian reportedly gave Jessica Simpson diet tips after the birth of their children.
Both curvaceous stars recently gave birth, with Kim welcoming daughter North on June 15 and Jessica's son Ace born just over two weeks later.
Kim has been showing off a dramatic 50lb. weight loss since then and 33-year-old Jessica recently looked toned in a photoshoot for Weight Watchers.
It was apparently her reality TV star pal, also 33, who helped her get her figure back.
"Jess really felt for Kim after she was criticised during her pregnancy and, once she saw how incredible she looked after the birth, it gave her that extra push," a source told British magazine Closer.
"Jess knew that if Kim, who is naturally curvy like she is, could do it she could too."
Jessica has been open about her struggle with weight and put on around 70lbs. while pregnant with her first child, daughter Maxwell.
While she was more careful about eating properly the second time around, Jessica recently admitted she gained more weight than she wanted to.
Apparently Kim helped her to diet after the birth.
"After having Ace, Jessica struggled to stick to her plan. She loves food and her appetite was far bigger this time around, so she wasn't losing the weight as fast as she knew she could. She gave herself too many cheat days!" the insider revealed.
"They'd met a few times before through mutual friends, so Kim decided to reach out. After bonding over their babies and weight struggles, Kim told her to put 'skinny pictures' all over the house and to measure her waist and hips to see the inches drop."
Jessica is also thought to be losing weight with her upcoming wedding to father of her kids, Eric Johnson, in mind.
Apparently the thought of being a "bigger bride" terrifies the star.
