Jessica Alba believes your signature style should be made up of clothes that make you smile.
The actress is known for being a smart dresser and regularly oozes traditional Hollywood glamour on the red carpet.
Jessica has also shown her style credentials by not being afraid to take fashion risks.
"[My style advice is], invest in timeless basics to create the foundation of your wardrobe, but have fun, experiment, and hone your authentic style with pops of colour and accessories. Mix high and low items to create a signature look - one that makes you happy!" she exclaimed to Racked.com. "And, most importantly, make friends with a good tailor because you'll look like a million bucks if your clothes are appropriately fitted to your shape."
Jessica is the co-founder and president of The Honest Company. The businesswoman says her office wardrobe consists of smart, structured styles with her signature twist.
"My style is timeless with an edge," she continued. "I like to wear classic silhouettes with a modern twist [such as] a leather jacket with stud details, a menswear-inspired suit in a modern shape or a classic dress in a fresh colour."
Jessica was interviewed by the publication, along with her colleagues, at the environmentally friendly company. The mother-of-two decided to set up her business after realising she didn't know what was in her daughters' diapers.
"I couldn't find out what the filling was made out of because companies don't tell you - and aren't required to," she finished."The more research that I did, I learned that the majority of diaper fillings (and other baby products, such as 'tearless' shampoo) contain toxic chemicals. I wanted to do something about it."
