Joan Collins: Short skirts are for the young

Joan Collins thinks women should avoid wearing "pu*sy pelmets" past the age of 35.

The 78-year-old star is famed for her ever-glamorous style, and prides herself on her elegant image. Joan thinks women should dress appropriately for their age.

"Short skirts are fine, but no 'pu*sy pelmets' past 35, please," she told the UK edition of Glamour magazine.

Joan also listed a number of her essential style rules, including that hair extensions are "fine" to wear. The actress then discussed fake tan, which is becoming increasingly popular in recent years.

"Fine, as long as it's not on your face," she said.

Joan thinks feminine charm is a powerful thing. She advises women to never show men their secret to looking good.

"Never let a man see you shaving your legs," she smiled.

Joan added that long nails are "passé." "They should be short and dark or short and light," she said.
