Magic Mike XXL star Joe Manganiello admires fashion designer John Varvatos' immense talent.

Actor Joe Manganiello feels "privileged" to call John Varvatos his friend, so didn't think twice about hiring him for his wedding suit.

The handsome star tied the knot with Modern Family beauty Sofía Vergara in November (15) in a lavish Palm Beach ceremony. While the bride stunned in a gorgeous Zuhair Murad gown, Joe looked dapper in a made-to-measure tuxedo by John, who also created tailor-made pieces for the actor's groomsmen.

"I was a fan of John's for years before I met him," Joe told The Hollywood Reporter. "I, like many others, admired his incredible style and immense talent from a distance, but after getting to know him as a person, I am privileged to now call him my friend. And when it came time to choose what to wear on the most important day of my life, he was the one I wanted to design my tux."

Joe gave John a lot of freedom when coming up with the smart ensemble, but did request a vest to wear under his jacket. The fashion expert thought it was a great touch and happily obliged as he has always loved the finished look. Every area of the outfit was taken into account, with the designer explaining the process behind it.

"The way we looked at everything was in a customised fashion," he added. "Even what the shoulders would look like on the garment, meaning the structure of the shoulder looking strong enough and elegant but not feeling too overpowering. All the details, all the way down to his shirt collar placket under the shirt where we did a hidden French placket so it wasn't your standard tuxedo shirt. It was a beautiful French cuff shirt - it was a little cleaner and simpler."

John was invited to the ceremony and felt extremely special for contributing such an important factor to Joe and Sofía's big day.
